Summer vacation is my favorite time of the year. It is long, fun, and full of great things to do. Here are some reasons why I love it so much.
(第一), summer is a time to relax. During the school term, we are (忙绿的) with lessons, tests, and homework. In summer, we are free from all those tasks. We can take a trip, go swimming, or simply sleep (晚；迟). Second, summer is great for spending time with family. My (生日) is in August, so we always have a party. I like eating cake and sharing gifts with my parents (和) friends. It's a very happy time.
Third, I (有) so many fun activities to do in summer. There are art festivals, trips to the park, and outdoor sports.
Last year, I learned to play (篮球). This year, I want to try something new, like drawing or fishing.
Finally, summer is a time to prepare for the future. Even though it's a holiday, we can use some hours to read books or learn something (有用的). My mom says I should practice math, and my dad thinks (地理) is important, too.
In short, summer vacation is not only fun but also a chance to grow. I love everything (关于) it and can't wait for the next one to come!
