On December 12, Huang Xingjie, a construction worker from Wuzhou in Guangxi, China, became a hero for saving a 4-year-old girl who was stuck between the railings of a balcony (阳台栏杆) on the 8th floor of an apartment building.
The girl was home 1 that morning. She went outside onto the balcony 2 accidentally slipped (滑倒) between the bars of the railing.
